JOHN NICOL: Regression Therapist, Life Between Lives Therapist, Hypnotherapist, Spiritual Healer Trainer, Spiritual Healer Practitioner.

My spiritual journey has been long and somewhat convoluted, but I feel I am now where I was meant to be.

I left my home in Edinburgh for a number of reasons when aged 18, and joined the Royal Air Force. In the 60's joining the forces was almost the only way a working class lad could see the world. I never considered myself to be 'spiritual' in any way. However, 14 years into the 22 years I had signed up for, I became increasingly disillusioned with military life, and the ethos that supported it, and left to go to university when aged 34 years. Studying sociology, social psychology, criminology and political philosophy, my journey took another turn. After post graduate studies I worked as a social worker, principally in child care. Again, this took me down a path that was to show me many different sides of human nature, and retrospectively I have realised, some elements which could be considered spiritual.

During this time I saw someone by the name of Dave Cousins in Cardiff, a healer and clairvoyant. He told me many things about some of my past lives, and that I was a healer. He said I should be working as a healer because I had been given a powerful gift. I did nothing about this for about 15 years! Then, in rapid succession, I was 'forced' into doing something about it as some members of my family were diagnosed with cancers. All embarassment, self doubts, were put aside, and I began channeling healing for them, and subsequently many other cancer patients. The members of my family, thankfully, have overcome their cancers, but the 'spiritual kick up the backside' saw to it that I carried on with healing until it reached the point where it has become the main activity in my life. I am now qualified as a Spiritual Healer Practitioner and Healer Trainer. I refer to the healing I channel as spiritual, and not exclusively associated with any particular religion, drawing inspiration from all, including shamanism, that practice a truly spiritual way of working.

Having read Michael Newton and Brian Weiss' books on past life regression, and the healing that was generated for their clients, I knew I had to work with this as another part of my healing, but I couldn't go to America where it all seemed to be happening. When Andy Tomlinson's book 'Healing the Eternal Soul' almost fell into my lap, and I found I could study PLR in UK with him and Hazel Newton, another door opened for me!

The experience of the PLR course was just fantastic! Finding out about yourself can be truly enlightening, and less scary than I thought, as the pieces come together. Watching the transformation that others go through, and how they seem to change before your eyes, helps you to appreciate what is happening to you as the client. To use an overworked 'Americanism' more appropriately, - Awesome!

I have never regretted the decision to have a regression, and to study PLR. Having completed the Diploma in Regression Therapy, and Life Between Life training, my spiritual healing has taken on a powerful new ally. I am more aware of so many new things, and I can now work with many more people, helping and healing and covering a wider range of 'ailments' - spiritual and emotional as well as physical!

My life experiences, were very important parts of my spiritual journey, leading me to the equally important PLR healing, and I am about to embark on the next phase of this journey. I have found out how powerful PLR is, personally, and by observation, as another potent way of healing for my clients.
